I’m Khwezi Magwaza a digital content professional based in New York City. I am currently the Director of Content and Digital for TED‘s Audacious Project. I was the Editor in Chief of Seventeen South Africa, and have worked in digital content, strategy, and marketing for Primedia Broadcasting, BET News, Girl Effect, and Praekelt.org. I was also a producer for radio and TV for many years launching South Africa’s popular entertainment show The Real Goboza, hosted by Trevor Noah, and hosting several shows on YFM. I have also written for Essence, True Love, and Cosmopolitan magazines. As a Ford Foundation Fellow, I hold a masters in Journalism from New York University in the innovative specialization Studio 20.
